Morticia is a Corpse Flower (Amorphophallus titanum), who makes her home in Boston. Corpse flowers are very rare and the largest flower on Earth. The reach a remarkable height of 6-9 feet tall! They only flower once every 7-8 years and only 3-5 blooming events, from plants grown in cultivation, happen worldwide each year. They get their common name from the truly horrible smell they emit when in full bloom. Trust me, it's true!
