Adults: Introduction To Wirework (18+)

Learn to create beautiful jewelry with wire and beads! Basic techniques for creating jewelry and simple chains, using cold connections (no soldering). Participants will create several pieces of jewelry to keep, generally one bracelet and one to two pairs of earrings.

Adults: Introduction To Precious Metal Clay

Make your own fine silver jewelry using the fun medium of Precious Metal Clay! Sculpt, carve, stamp and shape this ingenious clay into pendants, earrings, rings, and more. Students will create their designs and the instructor will fire the pieces in her home kiln between class sessions. Once pieces are fired, students will polish and finish their projects. Students will come home with at least two finished pieces, an understanding of the basic techniques of working with PMC, and a basic PMC tool kit to keep.
